This inert oil is manufactured by a controlled polymerization process and then is stabilized to give it some very unique properties. This oil is safe, chemically inert, nonflammable, and is oxygen and chlorine compatible. It has good lubricity, high thermal stability, and low compressibility.
The thickener used in this grease is commonly used in fluorinated greases of all types and exhibits exceptional chemical inertness and thermal stability properties. The MT-3I grease also contains molybdenum disulfide and an anti-rust additive. This grease has been formulated specifically for thread lubrication and sealant applications.
