980-0045-USB设计用于实验室实验的柔性运动控制。采用现代设计的控制器，即使是简单廉价的定位器也可以实现高速和高精度。
控制器与步进电机、直流电动机、增量式旋转和线性编码器、磁刹车、限位开关和主开关相结合。它有一个集成的零位置，可以通过一个命令来实现，使用来自限制开关、家庭开关、外部信号或组合的信号。控制器具有高水平的保护，从静电放电的所有外部连接和从短路的电机绕组。
Controller软件包括两个界面友好的XILab用户界面，允许在不开发自定义代码的情况下控制和测试所有的控制器功能。XILab接口设计用于定位器控制、诊断和微调由控制器驱动的电机。XILab支持多轴模式和多维控制脚本。在XILab接口中集成的脚本语言允许简单地创建算法，包括循环和条件语句，而无需编译和学习编程语言。
