　　20年前，工业和物联网完全不相干，工业体系的设备商非常专注于工业本身，互联网公司也不关心工业，两者有明显界线。如今，两者的界线变得越来越模糊了。国内的互联网大厂都在看工业互联网，而且在组建自己的工业节点。传统的工业设备商，都在看怎么样把互联网技术运用到工业体系来。再过十年，这一融合的趋势将会变得更加明显。工业物联网只有5G远远不够随着5G的部署，带宽会越来越宽，传输延时越来越低，而且5G可以做通信信道隔离，使得不同应用之间降低干扰。但是张宇认为，在工业物联网领域，光有5G还不够，因为5G承载了TCPIP协议，实际上它的服务质量不能完全保证，它是把一个包从A点放到B点，在中间可能经过若干个节点的转发，每一个节点转发过程中都会产生延时，这个延时怎么控制目前的协议还没有完全解决。工业领域对延时的要求更加苛刻，如果把5G技术用于工业领域必须有新技术辅助。TSN（时间敏感网络）就是针对以上问题的解决方案。英特尔看到5G、无线Wi-Fi，工业Wi-Fi等及时在工业应用中所面临的挑战，因此在业界与国际标准组织合作，来推动通信技术在工业领域的落地。以场景切入，工业物联网整体架构更清晰在工业物联网引用中，英特尔以场景驱动切入。张宇解释，，场景保证了和终端客户的契合度；第二，从场景出发，很多技术点（比如：机器视觉、AI、边缘计算、工业物联网平台）都有一个落地点，用户知道最终要解决什么问题。整个产业链的上下游可以一起讨论如何做产线的设备管理、性能监控、良率提升、质量过程控制等。概念清晰以后，算法、计算平台、硬件体系也就更容易做出来。有了边云协同架构，也很容易的和工业物联网平台供应商展开很有效对话，大家以场景作为共同关注点构建整体方案，在构建和落地过程中，大家对自己的工作范围也非常明确，自然在价值分享上也会比较清晰，最终可以实现共赢。
