　　3M Heat Shrink Tubing HDT is designed to provide reliable performance as well asexcellent mechanical and environmental protection. This flame-retardant productcombines the important advantage of easy handling and installation with maximumoperating reliability and system protection. The tubing comes with a factory-appliedsealant. This sealant is a heat-activated thermoplastic material that remains soft andflexible over long periods under adverse environmental conditions. During heating thesealant softens, bonds to underlying surfaces and fills small voids that might bepresent.When cool, the sealant forms a barrier against water, moisture, dirt and otherenvironmental contaminants. Heavy-duty tubing is fabricated from speciallyformulated cross-linked polyolefin, assuring long-term environmental protection. Thetubing is also highly chemical, abrasive and split resistant.The tubing is rated for continuous operation at -55oC (-67oF) to 110oC (230oF).Minimum shrink temperature is 121oC (250oF). Uncoated product (without sealant) isavailable on special order.
