　　altemp q nb 50 is a white/beige lubricating paste with a mineral base oil, barium complex soap and inorganic solid lubricants. the raw materials contain no lead, cadmium, nickel, sulphur orhalogens. this lubricating paste is universally applicable for assembly purposesand is especially suitable for frictionpoints subjectto small and very small sliding movements under high static and dynamicloads. it also provides reliable protectionagainst fretting corrosion.

　　altemp q nb 50 is suitable for all friction points, e.g. press fits, bearing seats, bolts, spline shafts,

　　threaded spindles, profile guides. it has also proven effective to lubricate chucks. the main criteria for chucks are high precision and uniform clampingforce. if the clamping force is reduced the workpiece may fall out.

　　altemp q nb 50 improvesthe sliding properties of the chuck components, ensures optimumtransmission of the clamping force. it is suitable for all types of chucks, e.g. scroll,cam and spiral chucks.in addition, altemp q nb50 is very resistantto water and other media, e.g. coolants and cutting fluids. it prevents stick slipand protects against tribo-corrosion, forexample in power-lockingconnections.

　　clean and degrease the surfaces thoroughly. apply the pastein a thin coherent layer by brush or with a cloth that does not fray (do not rub in).
