　　我国直线电机的研究和应用发展是从七十年代初开始的。1972 年，浙江大学在国内首先翻译了一本《直线感应电动机》译文集，后由科学出版社出版发行，尔后，上海工大、上海电机厂、中科院电工所等又编译了一些直线电机的书籍并出版。近2 年来，浙江大学又连续出版了3 本直线电机著作。国内开展直线电机应用研究的单位主要有：中科院电工所、西安交通大学、浙江大学、上海大学、太原工业大学、焦作矿业学院、山东工业大学、辽宁阜新矿院等许多学校。主要成果有：工厂行车、电磁锤、冲压机、摩擦压力机、磁分选机、玻璃搅拌、拉伸机、送料机、粒子、邮政分拣机、矿山运输系统、计算机磁盘定位系统、自动绘图仪、直线电机驱动(电动)窗帘机、直线电机驱动门、炒茶机等。我国直线电机研究虽然也取得了一些成绩，但与国外相比，其推广应用方面尚存很大差距。目前，国内不少研究单位已越来越注意到这点。国内生产直线电机及其系统产品的厂家很少，其中的是哈尔滨泰富科技实业有限责任公司，该该公司依托浙江大学的技术优势，并与中国电工学会直线电机专委会以及英、美、日等国紧密合作，从设计、生产制造到检测试验均已初具规模，已具备了生产多品种规格的直线电机及其系统产品的能力，在国内已有较大影响。
