TFW Multipurpose Thread Sealant
TFW MultipurposeThread Sealant with PTFE isa CALIFORNIA Departmentof Public Health compliant(Method v1.2), nonhardening soft set, nontoxic threadsealant for sealingand protecting NPT pipe fittings. TFW is specially formulatedto seal piping used for pressurizedair, natural gas, water,and fire sprinklersystems. TFW works as well in otherfluid and air applications.
TFW provides sealing performance upon application and is specifically formulatedto sealthreaded connections againstleakage due to internalpressure.
TFW contains nolead or harmful metals andissafe for use on potablewater lines. TFW is listed under the Uniform PlumbingCode (IAPMO), File Number 1282.
TFW conforms to Federal SpecificationTT-S-1732 and the requirements of British Standard 6920:Parts 1 and 2.
TFW is FBCTM System Compatible.*
