The reagent is useful as a fluorescent marker in NIR range when attachment toother molecules is not desired. It has high hydrophilicity and aqueoussolubility, improved quantum yield in NIR range, and very high molar extinctioncoefficient.
This reagent contains free carboxylic acid function. Pre-activated activatedester - sulfo-Cyanine7 NHS ester is also available.
