  Key features of the TRNEX system include:

  High Reliability and High Availability: Fault-tolerant control capability that simultaneously meets high reliability and high availability. To ensure high reliability and availability of the system, the controller, I O modules, and communications are triplexed. Faults in control system components can be recognized, faulty components can be automatically removed, and faulty components can be allowed to be repaired online without interrupting process operation. Any faults and associated data are stored in NVRAM, allowing the system to maintain operation for 1500 hours and still meet TUV AK6 ratings in the event of a failure of any channel in the I/O module.

  Unique TMR Architecture: The TRNEX Safety Control System is a fault-tolerant controller based on Triple Module Redundancy (TMR) architecture. the TMR integrates three isolated control systems working in parallel and performs independent diagnostics in each of the separate control systems. the system uses a three-take-two logic voting method and a two-take-two logic voting method. The system uses three-take-two logic voting to provide highly refined, error-free, uninterrupted process operation without system failure due to a single point of failure. the MP controller uses three independent channels, each of which executes the application program independently and in parallel with the other two channels. all digital input and output signals coming in from the field are voted on using a hardware voter, while the analog signals are processed as a choice of intermediate values. Each channel is isolated from the other channels, and any single point of failure of any channel will not affect the other channels. If a hardware failure occurs in one channel, the other channels can continue to operate, during which time the faulty module can be easily plugged and replaced online.

  Easy to Operate: From the user's perspective, the TMR system operates like a single-channel control system. Users can connect sensors and actuators to a single terminal block, write a single set of application logic, and let the control system manage and handle the rest.

  Comprehensive Diagnostic Functions: The system performs detailed diagnostics on each individual sub-circuit, module and functional circuit, monitoring and reporting on operating errors. All diagnostic information is stored and is available to the programmer for modifying the execution of the controller or for direct process maintenance.

  Other features of the TRNEX system include: SMT surface mount technology for all components, hermetically sealed mounting and corrosion resistance for more demanding industrial environments; suitable for medium-sized applications; support for remote and distributed I/Os; can operate correctly with 3, 2, or 1 main processor intact; complete and transparent triplex architecture; HDLC, AISC technology to increase controller processing speed, improve I/O response time, and enhance system responsiveness; comprehensive logic comparison diagnostics (including FPGAs) to improve system fault self-diagnostic coverage; and a full range of I/O modules. Its reliability and availability is up to 99.9998%, and in the case of the controller online, the module can be installed, adjusted and wired to the field terminals, support for online configuration and debugging, but also optional redundant Modbus communication and redundant high-speed Ethernet communication, can be extended to multiple sets of TRNEX safety control system.
