　　TRNEX 系统的主要特点包括：

　　高可靠性和高可用性：能同时满足高可靠性、高可用性的容错控制能力。为确保系统的高可靠性和可用性，控制器、I O 模块、通讯均采用三重化设计。可以识别控制系统元件的故障，自动排除故障元件，并允许在不中断过程操作的情况下，对故障元件进行在线修复。任何故障及相关数据被存储在 NVRAM 中，在 I O 模块中任一通道故障时，系统仍能维持运行 1500 小时，仍可满足 TUV AK6 级。

　　独特的 TMR 结构：TRNEX 安全控制系统是基于三重模件冗余（TMR）结构的容错控制器。TMR 集成了三路隔离的、并行工作的控制系统，并在每一个独立的控制系统中执行独立的诊断。系统采用三取二逻辑表决方式，提供高度完善、无差错、不间断的过程操作，不会因为单点的故障而导致系统失效。MP 控制器采用三个独立通道，每个通道与另外二个通道并行独立执行应用程序，对现场来的所有数字量输入输出信号采用硬件表决器进行表决，而模拟信号则是中间值选择处理。每个通道与其他通道相互隔离，任何通道单点故障不会影响其他通道。如果一个通道发生硬件故障，其他通道可继续运行，在此期间可方便地在线插拔和替换故障模块。

　　操作简便：从用户角度来看，TMR 系统的操作与单通道的控制系统类似。用户可将传感器和执行器连接在单一的接线端子上，只需编写一套应用程序逻辑，剩下的工作就由控制系统管理和处理。

　　诊断功能：系统对每个独立的分电路、模件和功能电路都进行详细的诊断，对操作错误进行监测和报告。所有诊断信息均被贮存，可供程序员使用，可修改控制器的执行或直接进行过程维护。

　　TRNEX 系统的其他特点还有：所有部件采用 SMT 表面封装技术，密封安装，防腐能力强，可应用于更苛刻的工业环境；适用于中等规模的应用；支持远程和分布式 I O；可以在 3、2 或 1 个主处理器完好的情况下正确操作；具有完整和透明的三重化结构；采用 HDLC、AISC 技术，提高控制器处理速度，改善 I O 响应时间，提高系统响应能力；采用综合逻辑比较诊断（包括 FPGAs）技术，提高系统故障自诊断覆盖率；拥有全系列的 I O 模块等。其可靠性和可用率高达 99.9998%，并且在控制器在线的情况下，可进行模块现场安装、调整和现场端子接线，支持在线组态和调试，还可选冗余的 Modbus 通讯和冗余的高速 Ethernet 通信，可扩展多套 TRNEX 安全控制系统。

　　A Triconex system typically consists of the following components:

　　Main Processor Module: executes user-written applications, is fault-tolerant, and achieves high reliability through triple-mode redundancy (TMR) architecture;

　　Communications module: used to communicate with other systems or devices, such as connections to Modbus hosts and slaves, Foxboro and Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and so on;

　　Input and output modules: can be analog and digital, stand-alone or hot-standby (standby), used to acquire field data and output control signals;

　　Power supply modules: usually of redundant design to improve system reliability;

　　Backplane (chassis): accommodates various previous modules;
