Cr:LiSAF晶体又名掺铬氟化铝锶锂,Cr3+:LiSrAlF6,和Cr:LiCAF,Cr: LiSGaF晶体(掺铬氟铝酸钙锂晶体)晶体一样采用LiSAF, LiSGaF和 LiCAF晶体材料掺杂生长而成,这些晶体采用高质量的晶体生长材料和Czochralski技术生长,采用吸收光谱技术监控晶体生长的质量。
Cr:LiSAF晶体掺铬氟化铝锶锂Cr3+:LiSrAlF6,简称Cr:LiSAF晶体是典型的colquiriite crystals, is a "vibronic" laser medium, 在近红外波段 (~780 nm to 1010 nm)广泛调谐, 可支持短到数十飞秒的超快激光 (研究表面该晶体可产生短到 24 fs的脉冲),与钛宝石激光相比，这种Cr:LiSAF晶体做制作的飞秒激光器造价*低， 因为它可以使用红色波段作为泵浦源，而不是绿色激光作为泵浦源， 具有*低的泵浦阈值，使用半导体激光器可以直接泵浦。
