　　智能型免维护呼吸器是用于油浸式变压器、互感器、有载分接开关或其它充有绝缘液的电气设备所使用的空气除湿及净化装置。它安装在变压器或互感器储油柜的进气口上，当变压器或互感器在运行过程中由于油温变化而使油体积发生涨缩时，迫使储油柜内的气体通过吸湿器产生呼吸，空气通过吸湿器下部的过滤器及充满硅胶的玻璃罐体进入变压器，可保证吸入的气体干燥(水分被干燥剂吸附)及洁净(粉尘杂质被过滤器阻挡)，以保持变压器油的清洁和绝缘强度。

　　The smart maintenance-free respirator is a kind of air dehumidification and purificationdevice used for oil-immersed tr ansformer, mutual inductor, on-load tap changer or otherelectrical equipment filled with insulating liquids. It is installed on the air inlet of the oilconservator of the transformer or mutual inductor. In case of swell-shrinking of the oil volumedue to the change in oil temperature during operation of the transformer or mutual inductor, thegas in the oil conservator will be forced to generate respiration through the moisture absorber.The air will enter into the transformer via the filter at the downside of moisture absorber and theglass tank flled with silica gel, guaranteeing the dryness (the water content is adsorbed by thedrying agent) and cleanliness (the dust and impurities are blocked by the filter) of the airabsorbed, so as to keep the cleanliness and insulating strength of the transformer oil.

油杯在安装时应松紧适度。旋得过紧,呼吸器无法工作;旋得过松则不起过滤空气的作用。

　　对于闲置的变压器和66kV仪用电流互感器，其呼吸器亦应及时检查更换吸湿剂和油，因为随着温度的变化，容器内的油面也在变动，呼吸作用仍在进行。此时如忽视检查呼吸器，则极易使这些设备受潮，造成不应有的损失。
